Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize our CI/CD pipelines during off-peak hours to ensure zero downtime.
- Monitor system performance and implement automated scaling solutions for weekend traffic spikes.
- Conduct rigorous security audits and patch management on our cloud infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and collaborate with the on-call engineering team.
- Automate repetitive infrastructure tasks to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Document system architecture and operational procedures for the weekend support team.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering roles.
- Strong proficiency in Linux systems administration and scripting (Bash/Python).
- Experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS or GCP.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Strong communication skills to relay technical status updates to stakeholders.
