Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain critical IT infrastructure including servers and network systems
- Respond to and resolve technical incidents with SLA adherence
- Execute scheduled system updates and security patches
- Document operational procedures and incident reports
- Collaborate with on-call engineers during escalation scenarios
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 standards
- Conduct weekend system health checks and performance optimization
Qualifications
- 2+ years in IT operations or system administration
- Proficiency with Linux/Windows server environments
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Datadog)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Ability to work independently during off-peak hours
- Valid California driver's license for occasional equipment transport
- Flexibility to cover occasional weekday shifts
