Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic, server performance, and system alerts using monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios).
- Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 technical incidents and service tickets efficiently.
- Escalate complex issues to Tier 3 engineering teams with detailed documentation.
- Perform routine health checks and maintenance tasks during off-hours.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and system changes in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize night shift workflows.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical experience.
- CompTIA Network+ certification is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience working in a NOC, Help Desk, or IT Support role.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail under pressure.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, and basic networking concepts.
