Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues during weekend shifts.
- Monitor network infrastructure and server health to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of workstations and peripherals.
- Respond to IT help desk tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Perform routine system backups and security patching on weekends.
- Collaborate with the week-day team to ensure seamless handovers of ongoing issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all technical interactions and resolutions.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or certification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in technical support or IT help desk roles.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites within Columbus.
