As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the face of our technical expertise, ensuring our local and remote teams have the tools they need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Hardware & Software: Resolve desktop issues, printer malfunctions, and network connectivity problems for office staff.
- User Support: Provide exceptional customer service and technical guidance to internal employees via phone and email.
- System Maintenance: Assist in the setup and configuration of new workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Security Compliance: Ensure all devices meet company security protocols and perform regular software updates.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and hardware inventory in our ticketing system.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field is a plus.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a technical support or help desk role.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic knowledge of Windows 10/11 and macOS.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Availability: Ability to work a part-time schedule (approx. 20-25 hours per week) including some evenings if necessary.
