Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic, server health, and system alerts 24/7.
- Execute incident response procedures to resolve critical outages.
- Perform routine maintenance and patching during low-traffic windows.
- Log and document all technical incidents and resolutions accurately.
- Collaborate with the Day Shift engineering team to escalate complex issues.
- Conduct regular audits of security protocols and access logs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or IT Help Desk environment.
- Experience with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, or similar).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred for night shift roles.
- Ability to work independently and remain focused during quiet hours.
- Associate degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification (CompTIA Network+).
