Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse staff and supervisors to maximize productivity and morale.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and local Long Beach regulations.
- Analyze operational metrics and implement process improvements to reduce costs and increase throughput.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and the utilization of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Coordinate with supply chain partners and logistics teams to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in warehouse management or logistics supervision.
- Proven experience managing teams in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems and WMS software (e.g., Manhattan, SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on team leadership.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as required by business needs.
