Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and SIEM logs 24/7 to identify potential threats.
- Investigate and mitigate security breaches and unauthorized access attempts.
- Perform daily vulnerability assessments and system patch management.
- Document incident reports, forensic analysis, and response actions.
- Collaborate with the threat intelligence team to update threat signatures.
- Conduct regular security audits and compliance checks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or network security role.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure.
- Ability to work flexible night shift hours, including weekends and holidays.
