Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance and security alerts during night shift hours.
- Perform routine patching, updates, and maintenance on servers and firewalls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated network tickets and connectivity issues.
- Manage VPN configurations and remote access protocols for off-site staff.
- Conduct nightly backups and verify data integrity and recovery procedures.
- Document all technical procedures and incident reports in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to hand over pending issues and status reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration or IT support.
- Strong working knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) consistently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
