We are seeking a visionary Future Tech Strategist to lead our organization’s technology roadmap through the pivotal year of 2026. As we look toward 2026, the tech landscape is shifting rapidly with advancements in Generative AI, Quantum Computing, and Decentralized Systems. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and integrating these technologies to drive competitive advantage and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Forecasting: Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of emerging technologies to build a robust 2026 technology roadmap.
- Trend Identification: Monitor industry reports, patents, and startup ecosystems to identify disruptive trends relevant to our sector.
- R&D Leadership: Lead internal R&D initiatives and pilot programs to test and validate future-proof technologies.
- Stakeholder Management: Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies for C-suite executives and engineering teams.
- Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate relationships with technology partners, academia, and research institutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in technology strategy, R&D, or product management within a Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environment.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of current tech stacks (Cloud, AI, Cybersecurity) and the ability to forecast their evolution into 2026.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven track record of turning high-level vision into executable roadmaps and deliverables.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
