What you'll achieve: Design and implement scalable cloud architectures, lead migration projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with product teams to optimize performance. You'll be instrumental in our expansion to 3 new data centers by Q4.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy AWS solutions (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins
- Implement cost optimization strategies reducing cloud spend by 20%+
- Conduct security audits and compliance (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Mentor 3+ engineers through pair programming and architecture reviews
- Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams on incident response
- Present technical roadmaps to C-level executives
Qualifications
- 5+ years AWS experience with 3+ years in enterprise environments
- Expert in at least 2 programming languages (Python, Java, Go)
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Pro or DevOps Engineer Pro
- Proven track record of migrating monoliths to microservices
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Strong background in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills with high-pressure scenarios
