Role Overview:
As a Junior Developer, you will assist in the design, development, and deployment of web and mobile applications. You will write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while learning the latest industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the product team to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Write high-quality, tested, and maintainable code in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
- Contribute to the testing and deployment of new features using CI/CD pipelines.
- Document code and technical processes to ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one backend language (Python, Java, or C#).
- A strong desire to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project needs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Basic understanding of database management (SQL) is a plus.
