We are currently hiring immediately for a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our growing team in Colorado Springs, CO. This is an urgent opportunity for a dedicated professional to protect our critical infrastructure and data assets.
Our client, a leader in defense technology, is seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about defending against modern cyber threats. You will play a pivotal role in our security operations center (SOC) and help shape our security posture.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Azure Sentinel).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate with incident response teams for mitigation.
- Implement and maintain security protocols, policies, and compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS).
- Perform regular audits and risk assessments to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and secure network architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certification is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT operations.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and security standards.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) is a plus.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret clearance (if applicable).
