Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain server racks, cooling systems, and power distribution units during night hours.
- Perform routine hardware inspections and basic troubleshooting to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Execute night audits and logging of system activities and environmental metrics.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and decommissioning of IT equipment.
- Respond to night shift alerts and coordinate with day teams for critical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and server environments.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Strong physical stamina; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license is a plus.
