Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 2 technical support to internal employees via phone, chat, and remote desktop tools during the night hours.
  • Monitor server health, network traffic, and system logs to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Perform routine hardware installations, software patching, and security updates outside of peak business hours.
  • Manage and prioritize the IT ticket queue to ensure 100% resolution rate before the morning shift begins.
  • Conduct nightly backups and verify data integrity across all local and cloud repositories.
  • Collaborate with the day shift team to document handovers and ensure continuity of support.
  • Assist with physical hardware inventory management and asset tagging.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Help Desk, Technical Support, or IT Operations.
  • Must be available to work the Night Shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) Monday through Friday.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 Suite.
  • Proficiency in remote troubleshooting tools (e.g., TeamViewer, LogMeIn) and ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a plus.
