Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate cybersecurity incidents and coordinate rapid response protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement threat mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with IT teams to enforce security best practices
- Generate comprehensive security incident reports for stakeholders
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and defense technologies
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity incident response or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and network security protocols
- Experience with Windows/Linux environments and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under urgent deadlines
- Excellent written/verbal communication for incident reporting
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
