Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable backend services using Node.js, Python, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
- Lead technical planning and execution of complex features with emphasis on security and performance
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
- Optimize system performance and implement CI/CD best practices
- Contribute to technical documentation and architectural decisions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with emphasis on backend systems
- Expertise in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, Go, or Node.js)
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database design
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control (Git)
