As a key member of our Future Technologies Division, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and industry disruptors to develop fault-tolerant quantum processors while mentoring the next generation of quantum engineers. Our Austin campus features state-of-the-art cryogenic labs and industry-leading simulation environments.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise deployment
- Lead quantum error mitigation strategies to achieve fault-tolerant operations
- Develop quantum-safe cryptographic protocols for post-quantum security
- Collaborate with hardware teams on quantum processor design and qubit coherence optimization
- Translate theoretical quantum computing concepts into practical commercial solutions
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in topological quantum computing or quantum annealing
- Track record of commercializing quantum technologies or securing major research grants
