Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize server infrastructure during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Proactively monitor network security and implement threat mitigation protocols
- Execute system backups, patch deployments, and emergency incident response
- Collaborate with global teams on infrastructure upgrades and capacity planning
- Document system configurations and create operational runbooks
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system outages and performance issues
- Automate deployment pipelines using Ansible and Terraform
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Linux/Windows Server administration
- Expertise in AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure and services
- Strong background in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN)
- Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- CCNA or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Previous night shift experience in 24/7 operations environments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
