Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, servers, and applications 24/7 to ensure optimal performance.
- Respond to and troubleshoot critical incidents reported during the night shift.
- Perform routine health checks and maintenance on hardware and software systems.
- Evaluate system alerts and logs to identify potential security threats or performance bottlenecks.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers and document all incident resolutions.
- Collaborate with the on-day shift team to ensure seamless handovers of ongoing projects.
- Adhere to all IT security protocols and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent technical certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical support or NOC role.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and network troubleshooting protocols.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting status updates.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure, after-hours scenarios.
