Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the integrity of our network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Respond to and resolve critical network incidents and outages occurring during the night shift.
- Conduct regular system health checks and performance tuning to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Implement and enforce network security protocols to safeguard sensitive data.
- Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports in our knowledge base.
- Collaborate with day-shift engineering teams to ensure smooth transition and handover of operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or a related IT field.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or JNCIA are strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of Cisco and Juniper network equipment.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues under pressure.
- Must be available to work a rotating night shift schedule (e.g., 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
