Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues for 500+ employees
- Deploy and configure desktop/laptop systems using imaging tools
- Manage Active Directory accounts and permissions
- Document technical procedures and create knowledge base articles
- Provide Tier 1 support via ticketing system and phone
- Assist with network security protocols and compliance
- Collaborate with vendors for hardware/software procurement
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS and networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred
- Ability to lift 30lbs for equipment handling
- Valid Illinois driver's license for occasional site visits
