Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 2026-era technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Design scalable architectures for quantum-secure systems and neural interface applications
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage R&D budgets exceeding $5M for experimental technology incubation
- Publish whitepapers and speak at global tech summits on future trends
- Oversee compliance with evolving ethical frameworks for autonomous systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or Futurism (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching commercialized future-tech products
- Expertise in quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or climate modeling
- Published author in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier journals
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, or Haskell preferred)
- Experience with ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation protocols
- Security clearance for sensitive government projects (or ability to obtain)
