Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across federal networks using advanced SIEM platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified systems
- Develop incident response protocols for zero-day exploits and APT attacks
- Collaborate with NIST and DHS compliance teams on security framework implementation
- Lead threat hunting operations using MITRE ATT&CK methodology
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and risk mitigation reports
- Mentor junior analysts on security best practices and emerging threats
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years experience in enterprise security operations with government clearance
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) required
- Expertise in network forensics, IDS/IPS tuning, and cloud security architecture
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and security automation tools
- Experience with FedRAMP compliance frameworks and CMMC standards
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure during critical incidents
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph clearance
