Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts and societal trends
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AGI) and assess commercial viability
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future-proof strategies into corporate vision and product development
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, conference keynotes, and industry panels
- Manage innovation incubators for experimental projects targeting 2026+ deployment
- Analyze geopolitical and regulatory impacts on long-term tech adoption
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-focused methodologies and strategic thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, technology forecasting, or innovation leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI governance, neurotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of scaling tech products with 5+ year vision horizons
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or MBA with tech specialization
- Published research or patents in future technologies or strategic foresight
- Experience leading teams through paradigm shifts in tech adoption cycles
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020+ technology predictions with 80%+ accuracy
