Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging tech domains (AI ethics, quantum applications, climate tech)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Produce trend analysis reports and scenario planning documents for executive decision-making
- Curate and host quarterly 'Future Horizons' symposiums with industry leaders
- Advise on patent strategy and emerging IP opportunities in next-gen technologies
- Represent the company at global tech conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal innovation scouting network
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech
- Proven track record of publishing trend reports or white papers in peer-reviewed journals
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario planning skills
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on technology disruption
- Strong network with academic research institutions and tech incubators
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
