We are seeking a highly skilled Night Shift Network Operations Technician to join our 24/7 critical infrastructure team in Omaha, NE. Responsibilities
- Monitor network infrastructure, servers, and security systems via NOC tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.) during night hours.
- Respond to and triage critical alerts and incidents with minimal downtime.
- Execute automated backups and routine maintenance tasks to ensure data integrity.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and system changes in the ticketing system (ServiceNow/Jira).
- Collaborate with day-shift engineering teams to resolve outstanding issues.
- Conduct routine security patching and vulnerability assessments.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or network operations.
- Experience with monitoring tools and ticketing systems is essential.
- Must be available to work a rotating night shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
