Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled maintenance on servers, storage arrays, and network infrastructure during weekend windows.
- Monitor system health alerts and respond to critical incidents or hardware failures during off-hours.
- Execute hardware upgrades, OS patching, and software installations to ensure system stability.
- Document all maintenance activities, incident reports, and change logs accurately.
- Collaborate with the on-call engineering team for complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental standards within the data center.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT certification (CompTIA A+, Network+).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical support or server administration role.
- Proven ability to work flexible weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
- Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently during the shift.
- Strong communication skills for reporting technical status to stakeholders.
