Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native data pipelines using AWS/GCP services
- Optimize data warehouse schemas for performance and scalability
- Develop ETL/ELT processes handling 10M+ daily records
- Create data quality frameworks and monitoring systems
- Collaborate with data scientists on ML data preparation
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
- Document architecture decisions and best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of data engineering experience with SQL/Python
- Expertise in cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake)
- Strong knowledge of orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt)
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines for data systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
