Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS infrastructure solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Lead Kubernetes cluster optimization and CI/CD pipeline automation
- Conduct security assessments and implement AWS WAF/Shield configurations
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices and DevOps methodologies
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Optimize cloud costs through FinOps strategies and reserved instance planning
- Respond to production incidents with SLA-driven incident management protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS certification (Solutions Architect Pro preferred)
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python/Go/Bash)
- Strong background in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub Actions)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Understanding of cloud security frameworks (CIS, NIST)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
