Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 15+ ER nurses during high-acuity shifts
- Ensure strict compliance with JCAHO and HIPAA regulations
- Coordinate patient flow and resource allocation during critical incidents
- Conduct performance evaluations and develop improvement plans
- Collaborate with physicians to optimize patient care protocols
- Implement new telehealth technologies in emergency response
- Manage departmental budget and supply chain logistics
Qualifications
- Active FL RN license with minimum 5 years ER experience
- BSN or Master's in Nursing required (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years supervisory experience in Level 1 trauma center
- ACLS, BLS, and TNCC certifications mandatory
- Proven crisis management and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong knowledge of Florida healthcare regulations
