Responsibilities
- Assess and stabilize trauma patients in fast-paced emergency scenarios
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during code blues and trauma activations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with real-time documentation
- Educate patients and families on emergency procedures and post-discharge care
- Adhere to JCAHO and OSHA safety regulations
- Participate in rapid response team activations
Qualifications
- Active PA RN license (compact license acceptable)
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- 2+ years emergency department or ICU experience
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 5+ years ED experience considered)
- Proven ability to perform under extreme pressure
- Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
