Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to ICU patients with complex medical conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust care plans accordingly
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Current California RN license (required)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience (new grads with externships welcome)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (day/night rotations)
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience preferred)
