Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Analyze current production workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement lean manufacturing solutions for maximum efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain rigorous quality control procedures to ensure all products meet industry standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, production, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot complex engineering issues.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols on the factory floor.
- Equipment Maintenance: Partner with maintenance staff to evaluate new machinery and oversee the installation of production equipment.
- Cost Reduction: Identify areas for cost savings in materials and labor without compromising product quality.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and ERP systems.
- Methodologies: Strong working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical problems and implement effective solutions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead training sessions.
