Responsibilities
- Optimize manufacturing processes using lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing new production technologies
- Design and improve tooling/fixtures for precision aerospace components
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 and FAA regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate vendor relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering (required)
- 5+ years of aerospace manufacturing experience
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining and assembly processes
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP a plus)
- Ability to obtain ITAR clearance
