CloudTech Innovations is urgently seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our high-growth team in San Francisco. This is a mission-critical role requiring immediate availability to support our expanding cloud infrastructure. If you're passionate about automation, scalability, and solving complex technical challenges, we need you to start within 2 weeks.
What You'll Achieve:
- Architect and implement scalable cloud solutions on AWS/GCP
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization and container orchestration
- Drive infrastructure-as-code initiatives using Terraform
- Mentor junior engineers and improve team DevOps practices
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automated deployment pipelines using Jenkins/GitLab CI
- Implement monitoring solutions with Prometheus/Grafana for 24/7 infrastructure health
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost management
- Lead disaster recovery planning and incident response
- Collaborate with security teams to implement compliance frameworks
- Drive infrastructure modernization initiatives
- Document system architectures and operational procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles
- Expertise in AWS/GCP services (EC2, S3, Lambda, Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Infrastructure-as-code proficiency (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- CI/CD pipeline implementation experience
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
