Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications using modern frameworks.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability for high-traffic environments.
- Maintain and update legacy codebases to ensure system stability and efficiency.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least two core languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, RESTful APIs, and database management.
- Ability to obtain a favorable background check/security clearance (preferred for DC roles).
