Responsibilities
- Lead development and optimization of cloud-native microservices using AWS and Kubernetes
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployment cycles
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Drive performance optimization and security enhancements across systems
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to architectural decisions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and data modeling
- Proven track record of mentoring technical teams
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous startup environments
