Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable microservices using AWS and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices across development teams
- Optimize system performance and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Java/Python and cloud development
- Expertise with REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices (Docker, Jenkins, Terraform)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- AWS/Azure certification preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design projects
