Responsibilities
- Lead development of microservices architecture using Java/Spring Boot and AWS Lambda
- Optimize system performance through database tuning (PostgreSQL/Redis) and caching strategies
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker for automated deployments
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices across the development lifecycle
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java and Spring framework
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and event-driven architectures
- Proven track record of delivering scalable, high-performance applications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification
- Experience with fintech or high-transaction systems preferred
