Responsibilities
- Orchestrate Release Cycles: Lead the planning, execution, and stabilization of the Version 2026 release train, ensuring all milestones are met with zero downtime.
- CI/CD Optimization: Enhance and maintain our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Infrastructure as Code: Manage infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Kubernetes, ensuring reproducibility and scalability.
- Release Automation: Develop and implement automated testing, packaging, and deployment scripts to reduce manual intervention and human error.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, QA Engineers, and Developers to define release criteria and troubleshoot deployment issues in real-time.
- Monitoring & Reliability: Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to proactively identify and resolve production issues.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of release processes, rollback procedures, and architecture diagrams.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles, with specific experience in leading major version releases.
- Tools: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go) and experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- CI/CD: Deep expertise in CI/CD tools and practices; experience with ArgoCD or Flux is highly desirable.
- Version Control: Strong command of Git and experience managing large-scale codebases.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional troubleshooting skills with a focus on root cause analysis and incident response.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
