Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems for federal infrastructure
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified networks
- Develop comprehensive security documentation and compliance reports
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
- Collaborate with DHS and other federal agencies on threat intelligence sharing
- Manage SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and automate security workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with federal government clearance
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent
- Expertise in NIST frameworks and FISMA compliance standards
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, network security, and cloud security architectures
- Demonstrated experience with threat hunting and incident response
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain immediately
- Strong analytical skills with ability to communicate complex risks to stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
