Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications.
- Conduct research on quantum error mitigation and fault tolerance techniques.
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to translate theoretical algorithms into executable quantum circuits.
- Optimize existing algorithms for specific quantum processors (NISQ devices).
- Present technical findings to internal stakeholders and the wider research community.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in quantum computing or a related research role.
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane.
- Strong foundation in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics.
- Experience with Python and high-performance computing environments.
