Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual technology horizon scanning reports focusing on 2026+ trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Design strategic frameworks for adopting emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Partner with R&D to translate future scenarios into product roadmaps
- Deliver executive briefings on disruptive market shifts and competitive threats
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Lead organizational change initiatives to future-proof company capabilities
- Author thought leadership content for industry publications and conferences
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, climate tech, space commercialization, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Experience building and leading global innovation teams
- Published author on future trends or technology disruption
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ successful future-focused initiatives
