Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions to automate deployment processes.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability and cost-efficiency.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible to drive consistency across environments.
- Enhance monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack) to provide real-time insights into system health and performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot complex issues and improve application reliability.
- Drive security best practices, including vulnerability scanning and compliance auditing within the cloud environment.
- Lead incident response efforts and conduct post-mortem analyses to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Linux system administration and shell scripting (Bash/Python).
- Extensive experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
- Certification in AWS (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional) or Azure is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, load balancing, and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
