Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable AWS/GCP infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for microservices architecture
- Conduct cost analysis and performance tuning for cloud environments
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices and DevOps methodologies
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with infrastructure-as-code principles
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2 and HIPAA security standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/GCP certifications
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of mentoring engineering teams
