We are seeking a visionary 2D Animation Artist to join our dynamic creative team in San Francisco. At Nebula Creative Labs, we specialize in crafting immersive digital experiences, and we need a creative mind to bring our concepts to life through stunning motion graphics and character animation.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with art directors and developers to produce high-fidelity assets for our clients' brands. If you have a passion for fluid motion, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to push the boundaries of 2D design, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and create high-quality 2D animations and motion graphics for web and mobile platforms.
- Design character rigs, storyboards, and keyframe animations using industry-standard software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UX/UI, developers) to ensure assets integrate seamlessly.
- Optimize animations for performance and load times without compromising visual fidelity.
- Maintain a consistent visual style and adhere to brand guidelines across all projects.
- Review and edit animation work based on feedback to ensure the highest standards.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in 2D animation, motion graphics, or graphic design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Animate CC.
- Strong understanding of animation principles (timing, spacing, squash and stretch).
- Portfolio demonstrating a range of animation styles and projects.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to take constructive feedback.
- Experience with HTML5/CSS or basic video editing is a plus.
