Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Collaborate with hardware team to mitigate quantum decoherence effects
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning applications
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming languages
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation or ion trap systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Expertise in high-performance computing environments
- Ability to secure US government security clearance (preferred)
