Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with error correction capabilities
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and cryptography
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-classical interfaces
- Research and implement novel quantum control systems
- Secure patents and publish breakthrough research
- Mentor junior quantum computing specialists
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant designs
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or ion trap technologies
- Demonstrated ability to publish in top-tier quantum journals
