Responsibilities
- Lead Night Operations: Direct and supervise the night shift team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and shipping.
- Inventory Control: Manage stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and utilize WMS (Warehouse Management System) to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict OSHA safety standards and conduct daily safety audits to maintain a secure work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure they are in proper working order before the shift begins.
- Staff Development: Train new hires, mentor existing staff, and evaluate performance to foster a high-performing team culture.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in the workflow and implement solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain supervision.
- Certifications: Forklift certification (OSHA preferred) is required.
- Schedule: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with inventory management software (SAP, Manhattan, or similar WMS).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
